2. Rental Agreement

Upon acceptance of your application, you will be required to enter into a rental agreement for your stay at Life Long Housing. The terms of the rental agreement will include:

  • Rental rates and payment terms

  • Lease duration (flexible terms available)

  • Rules and regulations for living in our co-living spaces

  • Tenant responsibilities regarding maintenance, cleanliness, and safety

By signing the rental agreement, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms outlined in the document and agree to comply with the conditions specified.



3. Payment Terms

  • Rental Payment: Rent is due on a weekly basis and is paid in advance. Payment includes your private furnished room, utilities, Wi-Fi, and access to shared facilities like the kitchen and laundry.

  • Late Fees: A late fee may be applied if rent is not received within 7 days of the due date. Life Long Housing reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if payment is not received after a grace period.

  • No Refunds: Payments made are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement.



4. Background Checks & Tenant Screening

All applicants must undergo a background check and personal interview as part of the screening process. This is to ensure a safe, respectful, and positive living environment for all tenants.

Life Long Housing reserves the right to decline any applicant based on the results of these checks or if the applicant does not meet our community standards.



5. Rules and Regulations

  • Occupancy Limits: Each room is intended for single occupancy unless otherwise agreed upon. Tenants are not permitted to have additional people reside in the room without prior approval from Life Long Housing.

  • Visitors and Guests: Guests are permitted to visit, but overnight guests must be approved by Life Long Housing. Guests must adhere to house rules and conduct themselves respectfully.

  • Noise and Disturbances: Tenants are required to respect quiet hours and maintain a peaceful environment in both private and shared spaces.



6. Security & Safety

  • Keyless Entry and Locks: All homes feature keyless entry with digital locks. Tenants must not share keys or access codes with others.

  • Security Cameras: Common areas are monitored by security cameras for the safety of all tenants.

  • Safety of Personal Belongings: Life Long Housing is not responsible for lost or stolen personal property. Tenants are encouraged to secure valuables and lock doors when not in their rooms.



7. Maintenance and Repairs

  • Tenant Responsibilities: Tenants are responsible for the general upkeep of their private room, including keeping it clean and free of damage. Any damages caused by the tenant may result in repair costs.

  • Requesting Repairs: Maintenance requests should be submitted through the tenant app. Life Long Housing will address maintenance concerns promptly during regular business hours.

  • Emergencies: For emergency maintenance issues, tenants should contact our support team immediately.



8. Termination of Agreement

Either Life Long Housing or the tenant may terminate the rental agreement as outlined in the agreement’s terms:

  • By the Tenant: The tenant may terminate the agreement with proper notice (usually 14 days in advance).

  • By Life Long Housing: Life Long Housing reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the tenant violates any rules or fails to meet the rental payment terms.



9. Liability Disclaimer

Life Long Housing is not liable for:

  • Any loss, damage, or injury that occurs in or around the property.

  • Any damage or loss of tenant property.

  • Failure to perform duties in the case of circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of God, or government restrictions.



10. Changes to Terms of Service

Life Long Housing reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and tenants will be notified if changes significantly impact their rental agreement. Continued use of our services after updates indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
